SIG core: Team Leadership election

SIG Specific Team Leads

Let’s have each SIG establish up to two leads that will be able to manage their respective members and permissions. I’ll grant the team maintainer role so those leads can operate without needing to be bottlenecked by me (sorry!).

If you’d like to lead, nominate yourself and say why you think you’d be a good leader. To nominate others simply @ them.

After 24hrs we’ll do open a 24hrs long vote (multiple choice + pick as many as you’d like, this poll will be limited to SIG core members only) and the highest voted 2 will become the new team leads. In the event of a tie between 2nd and 3rd we’ll toss a coin (If you believe there’s a better way to determine the outcome, please say so).

Documentation leadership responsibilities

Hello! As raised by @Jeff in the Team Leadership Election post, we haven’t discussed what the responsibilities for a SIG Documentation leader are. Do you see it as a purely administrative role? How much organization should be left to the leader? I have some ideas, I’m sure you do too. Let’s talk about how we want the leadership to be before taking an election.
