Can we make an infra SIG?

Hey, I don’t see a Infra SIG yet. Can we make one so we can talk about what’s happening there?

We could move discussions about hydra there, plus the nextcloud, wiki, and matrix that we just had there in forum form.

I feel infra would more likely be a committee. But you are correct.

Yes, we’ve been discussing this a little

I think we definitely need an infra committee, both to move the discussions to and to own the infra repo when that is on GitHub. @jakehamilton can we have this as a matter of priority?

I am going to create the infra committee on github. I can’t do it on discourse though.

I am, but I think it might be a configuration option or something, when I tried earlier it was not immediately clear that i could.

i would be interested in joining if a spot is available. i have a good amount of experience with general applications and services like terraform, vault, cloudflare, aws, gcloud, nginx, and tailscale. i also have worked with a number of nix specific infra solutions such as creating multi machine CI deployments for both hercules CI and hydra

for a reference, you can see my personal flake here where i have or still do use some of these on a daily basis for my personal infra
